MEET CAROLYN BALL

Hi! Thank you for visiting my website.

I’m so happy to be able to share with you something which I feel is one of the most effective and simple ways to create change available today. I have spent most of my life involved in seeking out ways that everyday people can efficiently and easily transform their lives—their work, their relationships, and their sense of self.

We live in exciting times—times when real change is actually possible—and accessible. No generation before ours has had the benefit of the technology for wellbeing that now lies at our fingertips. My work has been to study the new approaches that have come down the pike in the past thirty years, and to translate them into usable tools and techniques that anyone can apply. With these tools it has become my passion is to provide clarity, hope and empowerment. –Carolyn

Carolyn’s approaches are on

the cutting edge of creating change

Always seeking the best way to improve lives, Carolyn has synthesized some of the most effective, cutting edge tools available today. A warm and engaging therapist, an excellent teacher, and a woman of insight and clarity, she has moved many with her wisdom and knowledge, and her ability to facilitate change. Carolyn’s psychological background includes a Masters Degree in psychology, plus extensive trainings in EMDR, CBT, NLP, Internal Family Systems, Hakomi, and much more. Her CDs marry the ease and effectiveness of the Hemi-Sync audio technology with clinically effective verbal guidance. Her best-selling books are an adventure into self-discovery.

Carolyn has been a counselor since 1987, when she received her Master of Arts degree from the University of Houston at Clear Lake, graduating with the highest honors. She has also received extensive additional training in cognitive therapy and EMDR, although she draws from multiple modalities. But her love of helping others find fulfilling and happy lives comes from a family tradition in education. Her parents were both teachers, and they travelled the world, teaching at American international schools in Brazil, Taiwan, and Peru as well as several states in the U.S. Diversity was a way of life, as the family always respected, mingled with, and made friends with many from the  large multi-cultural communities where her father was superintendent of schools. Tolerance and acceptance were always a part of the mix of race, religion and culture in the international communities.

Carolyn herself, began her young adult life as an art teacher in public and private schools, and later worked for a number of years as a graphic designer. However, when, in her mid-thirties, she became involved in programs such as The Life Training and est, she was inspired to get her graduate degree. She has maintained a private practice since graduating in 1987 with a Masters Degree in psychology, and for years also presented workshops in self-esteem and self-growth, and later as nationwide trainings in continuing education for other mental health professionals. She has taught in many venues, including at conferences, in corporations, and in medical and mental health organizations. She has also taught continuing education courses for professionals nationally through Pesi, Inc. and Cross Country Seminars, and launched the continuing education program for counselors, social workers, body workers, and nurses for The Monroe Institute.

Carolyn’s spiritual life has also been an important part of her life, and, influenced by her multi-cultural upbringing, she has immersed herself in the study of various religious traditions, and her ecumenical spiritual background includes a solid foundation in Christianity, plus Yoga and Vedanta, Reiki, Native American approaches (as a Sundancer), and the loving wisdom of Meher Baba. She encourages her clients to bring their personal spiritual beliefs, whatever they might be, into their counseling experienced.

When Carolyn was in her early twenties, a psychic once told her she would be a writer, to which she laughed, saying she’d been an art major so she didn’t have to write. But it turned out to be true. She is the author of countless published articles, and of, among others, the self-help book Claiming Your Self-Esteem, a best-seller which has received many fine reviews, and has been utilized as a college text and in recovery programs. Her other books include Meher Baba’s Next Wave, Blessings in Disguise, Waves and Waves of Love, and Meher Baba in Assisi.

For fun, Carolyn enjoys writing, ballroom dancing, hiking, and volunteering.

Carolyn Ball has long been at the forefront of exploration in cutting edge approaches for personal and professional change. A national trainer, speaker, counselor, coach, and author, Carolyn Ball is recognized as a leader in offering insight and systems that are inspirational and experiential. An emphasis is placed on identifying goals, producing measurable results, and creating lasting and effective transformation.

Available for counseling, training, retreats, and conferences, Carolyn has always sought the best way to improve lives, and has synthesized some of the most effective tools available today.
